Biography

((Ming) June is now working at Synopsys, Inc. and has years of experience working with international corporations such as Motorola and Hewlett-Packard on globalizing wireless tele-communication system, improving system performance, enhancing software engineering productivity and quality, as well as providing system solutions for total customer satisfaction. Her research interests include requirements engineering, computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW), and software process modeling and improvement. Her thesis emphasized on formally modeling the infrastructure and dynamics of the requirements collaboration and negotiation to establish solid foundations for the WinWin Requirements Negotiation System. June received a B.S. in computer science and information engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1989, an M.S. and a Ph.D. (advisor: Dr. Barry Boehm, Director of Center for Software Engineering [CSE]) in computer science from the University of Southern California in 1991 and 1996, respectively.
